Since its business in China in 1988, Cabot has firmly fulfilled its commitment to the Chinese market and has been insisting on investing in China since then. So far, Cabot has invested more than 0.8 billion dollars in China. So far, Cabot China accounts for 20% of global business. At present, Cabot has set up an Asia-Pacific headquarters in Shanghai which has been awarded the title of national regional headquarters. • Shanghai: a joint venture between the Asia-Pacific/China headquarters, two trading companies and one factory (rubber carbon black) and Shanghai Huayi Energy Chemical Co., Ltd. (formerly Shanghai Coking Co., Ltd.)
• Shanghai: Asia Pacific Technology Center
• Tianjin: a joint venture between two factories (rubber carbon black, special carbon black, masterbatch) and Shanghai Huayi Energy Chemical Co., Ltd. (formerly Shanghai Coking Co., Ltd.)
• Jiangxi: a joint venture between a factory (fumed silica) and Blue Star New Material Chemical Co., Ltd.
Xingtai: a joint venture between a factory (carbon black) and Xuyang Chemical Co., Ltd.
• Wuhai: a factory (fumed silica)-a joint venture with Inner Mongolia Hengye Cheng silicone Co., Ltd. (to be officially opened in September, 2019)
• Xuzhou: Completed the acquisition of nitielong (Jiangsu) carbon black Co., Ltd., a subordinate of Japan Nippon Iron in October 2018. In the next two years, the company will transform and upgrade its large-scale investment team factories, thus producing the finest series of carbon black products in the world.
• Zhuhai: Shenzhen Sanshun nano new materials company was purchased in January 2020, becoming the only commercially successful carbon black, carbon nanotubes, supplier of high-performance carbon materials with carbon nanotube structure and dispersion capacity.
