Dr. Nora Schiefenhövel

Head of Custom Catalyst

Nora Schiefenhövel brings more than 18 years of expertise in the chemical industry with specialized knowledge in catalyst technology and innovation leadership. As the current Head of Custom Catalyst at Clariant's Munich location, she is responsible for global business operations and team development.

In her previous role leading Business Development, she identified and cultivated growth opportunities in emerging catalyst markets, with particular focus on hydrogen transport and sustainable fuels technologies. Her professional journey began as an R&D Team Leader at Süd-Chemie in 2005.

Mr. Keitaro Shinkawa
Custom Lead APAC

Keitaro Shinkawa brings 14 years of expertise in the chemical industry with specialized knowledge spanning both downstream applications and upstream catalyst technologies. As the current Custom Lead for the APAC region, he is responsible for driving growth and leading custom catalyst activities throughout Asia Pacific.

In his previous role within Clariant's Additives Business Unit (2011-2019), he provided technical sales support and formulation expertise for waxes, flame retardants, and stabilizers across various industrial applications. His professional journey in Clariant began in April 2011 after completing his academic studies.

He holds a Master of Science degree in Protein Engineering from Nara Institute of Science and Technology. His unique perspective across the entire value chain enables him to effectively bridge complex chemical processes with practical customer solutions.

Mr. Masahiro Noguchi

Senior Lab Scientist, BU Catalysts

Masahiro Noguchi brings over 15 years of expertise in catalyst development with specialized knowledge in scale-up processes. As a Senior Lab Scientist in Clariant Catalysts' R&D division, he transitions laboratory research to industrial production.

Since joining Clariant in 2008, he has engaged in various R&D aspects through industrialization processes. From 2020, he has led scale-up studies for custom catalysts, efficiently bridging research outcomes with manufacturing requirements.
